Summary: Blu Terrenas inaugurates phase one and breaks ground on Almare Beach Resort by Hilton in Las Terrenas. Samaná cements its luxury destination status.

## Article

Blu Terrenas has launched the first phase of its mixed-use development and broken ground on the **Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas, Curio Collection by Hilton**. That's according to [Dominican Today](https://dominicantoday.com/blu-terrenas-launches-first-phase-and-breaks-ground-on-hilton-resort-in-samana/). It is a big step for the area.

The project mixes residences, retail and the Hilton resort. My read: Samaná is no longer just a promising destination, it is becoming a consolidated one. **This brings jobs, investment and international exposure** to one of the country's most beautiful coastlines.

And Hilton does not go anywhere. It chooses **Las Terrenas** because it sees what many of us see: a spot with beach, mountain and authenticity that calls for an upscale product. This is a confidence boost for the whole province.
