Summary: Gray Line, with years of operation in the Dominican Republic, expands into El Salvador with investment and leadership, and the Salvadoran tourism minister welcomes it.

## Article

Gray Line, a name that in the Dominican Republic has spent years moving travelers through Punta Cana, Samaná, and Puerto Plata, just took a serious step abroad. According to [Listín Diario](https://listindiario.com/economia/20260829/gray-line-amplia-presencia-internacional-salvador-inversion-liderazgo_919983.html), the company is expanding into El Salvador with investment and leadership, and the Salvadoran tourism minister is not just applauding: she highlights the fraternal ties with the Dominican Republic.

For a company built in our market to go operate in Central America is no accident. It means the Dominican know-how in managing tours and experiences has exportable value. I see a regional opportunity here: the Caribbean and Central America share travelers, airlines, and even tour operators. Gray Line putting a foot in San Salvador strengthens the tourism corridor already connecting Santo Domingo with the isthmus.

For the Dominican professional, the takeaway is clear. Our tourist service model, with quality standards that don't ask permission, is being recognized abroad. And that opens doors: partnerships, knowledge of other markets, and in the long run, more visitors coming home. If Gray Line achieves in El Salvador half of what it's done here, the whole region wins.
