Summary: Hyatt Hotels opens Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana, the debut of its inclusive brand in the Dominican Republic. A bet on the premium segment that strengthens the destination's offer.

## Article

**Hyatt Hotels** has officially opened **Hyatt Vivid Punta Cana**, the first resort of the **Hyatt Vivid Hotels & Resorts** brand in the Dominican Republic. [Arecoa](https://www.arecoa.com/hoteles/2026/09/01/hyatt-vivid-concreta-su-debut-en-rd-con-exclusivo-resort-en-punta-cana/) confirmed the debut of a proposal designed for travelers seeking premium experiences without giving up the convenience of all-inclusive.

The launch comes at a sweet moment for the destination. Punta Cana remains the country's tourism engine, and the arrival of a new brand not only expands the offer but also raises the bar in terms of service standards and design. I see it as a clear sign: major groups continue to trust the Dominican Republic as a strong market to grow.

With this move, Hyatt strengthens its presence in the Caribbean and gives international travelers another reason to choose the Dominican east coast. The question now is how long it will take before the next Vivid properties are announced in the region. There is plenty of room here for more brands of this caliber.
