Summary: Jack Nicklaus visits Cap Cana to oversee Las Iguanas Golf Course, the new signature course that strengthens the Dominican Republic's luxury golf offer.

## Article

**Jack Nicklaus** is back in **Cap Cana**. The golf legend landed in the destination to personally check on **Las Iguanas Golf Course**, the new course his Jack Nicklaus Signature Design team is working on and one that promises to raise the bar for luxury golf in the Dominican Republic.

According to [Dominican Today](https://dominicantoday.com/jack-nicklaus-visits-cap-cana-to-oversee-new-las-iguanas-golf-course/), Nicklaus inspected the layout himself. To me, that says two things: this project is serious, and Cap Cana is still pulling big names from the golf world. This is not just another course, it's a branded signature that puts the Caribbean on the high-end golf map.

Nicklaus showing up goes beyond institutional courtesy. It's a signal to international buyers, the kind of traveler who picks a resort for its golf course. And in that game, the **Dominican Republic** is making a smart move. Competition in the Caribbean is tough, and that's exactly why moves like this keep the country in the big league.
