Abinader unveils four tourism hubs to attract investment

President Luis Abinader and Presidency Minister José Ignacio Paliza presented in Santiago the projects the Government is developing in Manzanillo, Punta Bergantín, Cabo Rojo and Miches. The bet is clear: turn these four areas into investment hubs capable of generating jobs and economic activity outside the already consolidated circuits. Four different fronts with one common denominator: pulling tourism away from the Punta Cana-Bávaro axis and spreading the economic return across more provinces.

The reading is straightforward. The country has been growing in arrivals for years and that gives it the muscle to diversify. What needs watching now is execution: permits, access roads, power and water in each area. If those four hubs start with infrastructure up to standard, hotel investment will find solid ground and the provinces will see real tax revenue.
