Blu Terrenas has launched the first phase of its mixed-use development and broken ground on the Almare Beach Resort Las Terrenas, Curio Collection by Hilton. That's according to Dominican Today. It is a big step for the area.

The project mixes residences, retail and the Hilton resort. This brings jobs, investment and international exposure to one of the country's most beautiful coastlines.

And Hilton does not go anywhere. It chooses Las Terrenas because it sees what many of us see: a spot with beach, mountain and authenticity that calls for an upscale product. This is a confidence boost for the whole province.
