Adompretur holds assembly, sets tourism press agenda

The Dominican Association of Tourism Press (Adompretur) held its ordinary general assembly on Saturday, September 5, in Santo Domingo. More than 50 active members met at the Instituto Nacional de Formación Técnico to review management and upcoming steps. When a guild comes together and reports back, it's a good sign: it shows an industry that stays alert and treats communication as part of the product.

According to Adompretur's release, the assembly highlighted institutional progress and outlined future projects. That matters. In a destination that lives on tourism, specialized journalists help craft the story that reaches tour operators and travelers.

My take: when the press guild is organized, the whole sector wins. Those voices will lead the narrative of recovery.
