ADOPETUR adds HARBY and ANCILA in Punta Cana
The Dominican Association of Parks and Tourist Excursions (ADOPETUR) keeps weaving its network in the country's East. According to Infotur Dominicano, the body brought in Renato Lenzi, representing HARBY Inversiones SRL, and Laurent Michel Henri Moreau, for ANCILA Punta Cana, SRL, as active members.
The move carries weight. ADOPETUR gathers the operators of parks and excursions that move a large share of the visitors arriving in Punta Cana and Bávaro, a segment that bills in dollars and creates direct jobs in the area. Every new member joining is a vote of confidence that the association works as an interlocutor before MITUR and as a joint promotion platform.
The read is clear: the excursions market in the East is formalizing. Anyone outside a strong associative structure stays out of the tables where rates, quotas and regulation are negotiated. For hoteliers in the area, this means better-organized suppliers and, if handled well, a more solid experience for the guest leaving the resort to explore the destination.
