Puerto PlataPuerto PlataA north-coast city and province, birthplace of Dominican tourism, home to the cable car up Mount Isabel de Torres, Victorian architecture and the Amber Cove cruise port. is once again the hub for travel trade. AventúrateRD 2026 brings over 60 exhibitors and buyers from the Americas and Europe, as reported by Arecoa. The event aims to connect Dominican suppliers with international tour operators and generate real business.
In my view, this is a solid boost for the north coast. Puerto Plata has been working hard to regain the spotlight, and having decision-making buyers on site is exactly what it needs. This is not just a showcase: it's a deal-making machine.
Mark your calendar for July 2026. If you are a hotelier or tour operator in the area, don't sleep on this: these events often close contracts that show up in next year's bookings. Just saying.
