Collado delivers El Faro beach with RD$67 million this Friday

Minister David Collado is on a roll. This Tuesday he oversaw the final stretch of the intervention at El Faro beach in San Pedro Macorís, a RD$67 million project that will be handed over this Friday with President Luis Abinader in attendance, according to Infotur Dominicano.
Beyond the ribbon-cutting ceremony, this confirms the government is pushing to improve destinations outside the traditional circuit. San Pedro Macorís has potential for coastal tourism if maintenance is sustained. Let’s hope it’s not just a photo op and then abandonment. The investment is real and needs follow-up.
