- My take: it's a smart move. Russia has historically been a loyal market for the DR, and with direct flights coming back, we can recover that visitor flow that boosts hotel occupancy so much.
The challenge lies in air connectivity and visa facilitation. But if Mitur knows how to do one thing, it's clearing the path. Mark my words: when this market activates, hotels that have worked with Russian tour operators before will have a clear advantage.
